Mughal subedar Mansur Khan donated 10.56 acres of land for the mosque in 116 AH and built the mosque. Motawalli of that time were Ijar Mahmud Sheikh, Bijar Mahmud Sheikh, Khan Mahmud Sheikh and others. As Subedar Mansur Khan does not have a beard, there are rumors that the mosque built by him is being informed to the people as Nidaria Mosque. At present, the locals offer prayers at the mosque located at Barbari in Panchagram Union under Lalmonirhat Sadar Upazila.
