The Shrine of Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) is a place of pilgrimage and a symbol of spirituality where thousands of devotees come to visit all the year-round. It has been six hundred years since Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) was laid to rest, but his memory and love for him has been passed down from generation to generation. The Shrine of Hazrat Shah Paran (R) is very close to the Shrine of Hazrat Shah Jalal (R). In the evening usually visitors pray at the shrine and light candles for showing respect to them. The visitors also enjoy themselves by feeding Bullseyes Snakehead (Channa Marulius) fishes and tortoises in the pond of the shrine,

How To Go:

By using road/train/air from any places to Sylhet then By local transport to Destination. The shrine can be reached by rickshaw or CNG autorickshaw at the Sylhet railway station or Kadamtali bus stand. Rickshaw fare is 20-25 taka, CNG fare is 80-100 taka. Tourists can go by rickshaw or CNG. Rent 30-50 / - taka
